There’s good news for Pixel 10 users in the US as they can now try Gemini’s screen automation feature. The Google Pixel 10 lineup is now picking up the feature in the U.S., after the release of Gemini app control on the Galaxy S26 series.
Samsung and Google showcased a feature at the Galaxy Unpacked event last month. This feature allows Gemini to handle tasks on your behalf. This implies that Gemini screen automation can help with actions like ordering food, calling a cab, or placing grocery orders without you touching your phone.
Samsung began rolling out the feature in the U.S. and Korea. This began shortly after the Galaxy S26 series went on sale earlier this month of March
.However, the feature is arriving on the Pixel 10 series in the U.S. The feature is available across the entire lineup, including the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold running Android 16 QPR3 stable.
To trigger the feature, just hold the power button or use the “Hey Google” command. Once it’s activated, Gemini will walk through the task step by step on screen in a virtual window. As the process is on, it’s displaying what it’s doing. You can also control it at any time as it requests the final confirmation before completing the task.
Then again, users can find the feature in the Gemini app settings under Screen automation. Although it only supports a limited set of apps for now, including Lyft, Uber, Uber Eats, Grubhub, DoorDash, and Starbucks.
Moreso, Gemini can ask follow-up questions like selecting a drink size or store location when placing an order. According to reports, usage limits depend on the Gemini subscription tier. For free users, they can make about five requests per day, while Gemini Ultra subscribers can reach 120 requests on a daily basis.
